Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the Klare website and analytics service (the "Service"), account registration and purchases. Please read them before creating an account or purchasing access. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Klare helps B2C SaaS founders understand which TikTok videos and carousels are associated with traffic to their SaaS. With your authorization, a Python service performs mathematical and statistical analysis on TikTok API and PostHog project data.

Insights are estimates. They do not prove that a particular post caused a visit, identify every visitor’s journey, or guarantee traffic, conversions or revenue.

3. Registration and sign-in

Start now opens the signup page in Klare App. Registration requires a valid email address and authorization of a TikTok account. The email is used for account communications and billing; it is not a password or a separate login method. Returning users sign in through the Login page with their connected TikTok account. Registration alone does not grant paid access.

The current MVP provides one Klare account connected to one TikTok account per lifetime purchase. Access is personal to that account; a purchase does not provide team seats, multiple TikTok accounts or a transferable license. Do not share your account or authorize a TikTok account belonging to someone you are not entitled to represent.

4. Eligibility, pricing and payment

The Service is intended for professional use by people aged 18 or older, acting for themselves or a business they are authorized to represent. Provide accurate contact information, protect access to your TikTok account and report suspected unauthorized access to[email protected].

Klare Lifetime is offered as a one-time payment, not a monthly or annual subscription. The landing page currently advertises USD 49. Review the final price, currency and any applicable taxes displayed in Stripe Checkout before paying. Creating an account or connecting TikTok does not itself charge you.

Klare checks access after authentication. An account with active lifetime access opens the dashboard; an account without access is directed to Stripe Checkout. Access is activated after the server confirms a successful payment. A cancelled, failed or pending payment does not grant access. Future pricing changes do not create recurring charges for an existing lifetime purchase.

Manage subscription in the dashboard opens the Stripe customer portal for the customer linked to your purchase. The available billing information, documents and actions depend on the portal configuration and your purchase. This menu label does not turn the lifetime offer into a recurring subscription. Contact us for billing questions or refund requests. If the payment is refunded, the associated paid access is revoked.

These Terms do not exclude statutory guarantees, remedies or withdrawal rights where they apply. If you qualify as a consumer and have a statutory withdrawal right, you may exercise it by emailing an unambiguous request identifying your account and purchase to [email protected]. The usual withdrawal period for a distance service contract is 14 days from its conclusion. Signing in or paying alone is not treated as a waiver of that right. Any exception requires the conditions imposed by applicable law.

5. Integrations and your responsibilities

Connect only TikTok accounts and PostHog projects you are authorized to access and share. You authorize Klare to retrieve and process permitted data as needed for the requested analysis. You remain responsible for compliance with provider terms, applicable law and your obligations to your users.

You must have a lawful basis for sharing personal data, provide required notices, obtain consent where needed and avoid unnecessary or sensitive data. Where Klare acts as your processor, a data processing agreement must govern processing before it begins.

API access, metrics and supported formats depend on third-party permissions, policies, rate limits and availability. Klare is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with TikTok or PostHog.

6. Permitted use

Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for internal business purposes. You must not:

Restricted activities. You may not use Klare to promote or optimize traffic for gambling, betting, online casinos, pornography, sexually explicit content, or illegal products or services. This list is illustrative and non-exhaustive. Klare is not available to every business or for every use; access may be subject to a review of your business activity and intended use for compatibility with Klare's purpose and ethical standards. Eligibility criteria concern business activities and use of the Service, apply equally to all applicants, and must comply with applicable law.

Klare may refuse or suspend access where the Service is used for these activities, subject to applicable law. Klare may also decline applications for other activities following this review and will explain the relevant activity-based reason. Creating an account does not override these permitted-use restrictions. If you are unsure whether your intended use is permitted, contact [email protected] before using the Service.

7. Ownership

You retain rights to your data and grant Klare only the rights needed to process it and provide the Service under your instructions. Software, branding and original materials remain the property of their respective owners. Third-party content and trademarks remain subject to their owners’ rights.

8. Availability and limitations

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. Availability, completeness and accuracy are not guaranteed. Missing events, tracking restrictions, overlapping campaigns, delayed data and statistical uncertainty may affect results. You remain responsible for evaluating insights before making decisions.

Features may be updated, interrupted or suspended for maintenance, security, legal obligations or product changes. Where appropriate, we will give notice of material changes affecting your access.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, goodwill or business opportunities arising from use of the Service. Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or overrides mandatory consumer rights where applicable.

10. Termination and deletion

You may stop using the Service, revoke integration access through the connected provider and request account deletion by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for material breaches, unlawful activity or risks to the Service or others. Data handling after termination is governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable processing agreements. Provisions intended to survive termination continue to apply.

Accounts that have never paid may be automatically deleted with their associated application data after more than three years without authenticated use or sign-in, as described in the Privacy Policy. Lifetime access, recorded purchases (including refunded purchases) and administrative owner accounts are excluded from this inactivity cleanup. Billing records remain subject to their applicable retention requirements.

11. Changes

Revised Terms will be published with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated where required and consent obtained where legally necessary. If you disagree with revised Terms, you may stop using the Service.

12. Governing law and contact

French law governs these Terms, without prejudice to mandatory protections and jurisdiction rules that apply to you, including consumer protections in your country of residence where applicable. For questions or to seek an informal dispute resolution, contact [email protected].
